CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />• <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 25th day of <br />June, 1980. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Steele and Larson and the following were absent: Councilmembers Brown and <br />Eggert. Councilmember Larson introduced the following Resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 80-16 <br />A RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE ST. PAUL PROPOSED <br />ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE CONTROL OF NARCOTICS <br />PARAPHERNALIA <br />C ~ <br />J <br />WHEREAS, St. Paul, Minnesota Council President Ron Maddox has proposed <br />a resolution relating to the control of narcotics paraphernalia which is <br />attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and, <br />WHEREAS, the League of Minnesota Cities was supportive of the proposed <br />resolution at their 1980 State Convention, at which the representative of the <br />City of Falcon Heights was in attendance and voted in the affirmative, <br />NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights unanimously <br />supports such a resolution and encourages the State Legislature to draft a <br />similar law to .prohibit the sale of narcotics paraphernalia. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregozragresolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Steele and upon a vote being taken the following voted "Aye": <br />Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele and Larson and the following voted <br />against same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, the Resolution was delcared duly passed and adopted this 25th <br />day of June, 1980. <br />Attest: <br />ewan B.
