CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular Meeting of the City <br />• Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 23rd day of <br />July, 1980. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, <br />Brown, Eggert and Larson, and the following were absent: None. Councilmember <br />Larson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION 80-19 <br />A RESOLUTION CERTIFYING PRE-REVIEW REQUIRE- <br />MENTS HAVE BEEN SATISFIED <br />WHEREAS, the Metropolitan Land Planning Aet requires local governmental units <br />to prepare comprehensive plans and submit them to the Metropolitan Council for <br />review; and <br />WHEREAS, this plan entitled Falcon Heights, Minnesota Comprehensive Plan <br />represents the response of Falcon Heights to the requirements of the Metropolitan <br />Land Planning Act; and <br />WHEREAS, this plan was adopted by the City of Falcon Heights Planning Commission <br />on July 23, 1980 following a public hearing with required legal notice; and <br />WHEREAS, this plan was delivered to the City of Lauderdale, City of Roseville, <br />City of St. Paul, University of Minnesota, Minnesota State Fair, School District <br />• 623 and Metropolitan Council for review and comment on July 9, 1980; and <br />WHEREAS, this plan was considered and accepted but. not adopted by the Falcon <br />Heights City Council on July 23, 1980; and <br />WHEREAS, this plan was transmitted to the above listed jurisditions concurrently <br />with submission to the Metropolitan Council for formal review under the Metro- <br />politan Land Planning Act. <br />BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED`.,>by the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, <br />Minnesota that the Clerk Administrator is authorized and directed to submit <br />this plan to the Chairman of the Metropolitan Council for review under Section <br />473.175 of the Metropolitan Land Planning Act. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Steele and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, Eggert and Larson <br />and the following voted against same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />Willis C.
