CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Special Meeting of the <br />City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held November <br />• 25, 1980. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Steele. and Eggert and the following were absent: Councilmembers Brown and <br />Larson. <br />Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 80-30 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING FINAL PAYMENT OF $30,485.24 <br />TO BLACKTOP SERVICE, INC. FOR THE RECONSTRUCTION OF <br />GARDEN AVENUE, HOLTON TO SHELLING DRIVE, AND 1979 <br />SEALCOATING PROJECT <br />WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights has entered into a contract with <br />Blacktop Service, Inc., 1200 W. Highway 13, Burnsville, MN, for the con- <br />struction of Garden Avenue from Holton to Snelling Drive, and 1979 seal- <br />coating, and <br />WHEREAS,. both contracts have been completed, and <br />WHEREAS, the City Engineer has inspected and determined the actual <br />contract cost for construction of Garden Avenue to be $127,752.91 an under <br />run of $34,378.86 and sealcoating costs were $48,836.63 an under run of <br />S $3,730.12, <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of <br />Falcon Heights does hereby authorize final payment in the amount of $30,485.24 <br />to Blacktop Service, Inc. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregait~gresolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Eggert and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele and Eggert, <br />and the following voted against the same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />FiT - ~ <br />Willis C.
