CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />• Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a Regular Meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota was held on the 12th day of <br />August, 1981. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers <br />Steele, Brown and Eggert , and the following were absent: None. <br />Mayor i~Jarkentien introduced the following resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 81-`10 <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE RATE OF ASSISTANCE <br />FOR SHADE TREE SANITATION OF PRIVATE PROPERTY UNDER <br />MINNESOTA STATUTE 18.023 <br />WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota has entered into a Joint <br />Agreement with the Minnesota Department of Agriculture and under Minnesota <br />Statute 18.023 which provides for state assistance for Shade Tree Sanitation <br />program and, <br />WHEREAS, the State of Minnesota requires the City to establish a rate <br />of disbursement: <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Falcon <br />Heights,. Minnesota does hereby establish the rate of assistance to private <br />• property owners at 50% of the cost of removal effective January 1, 1981, not <br />to exceed $100.00 per tree, limit to five (5) trees per lot per calendar year. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilmember Brown and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following <br />voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown and <br />Eggertand the following voted against same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, the resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />/~`~ , <br />~ C.~ _ <br />Willis C.
