In the event the City decides to sell the premises, selection of <br />• the purchaser will be based upon the City Council's sole determination of the <br />best interests of the City and its residents, including but not limited to the <br />proposed or negotiated price, financing plan, responsibility of the proposed <br />purchaser, proposed occupancy dates and other factors establishing compatability <br />with the City's vacancy plans (which at this time are not specifically known), <br />the planned use of the premises by the proposed purchaser and contribution of <br />the proposed use to the tax base of the City. <br />5. Nothing herein or done in any subsequent proceedings or negotiations <br />shall be deemed a waiver of any law applicable to any proposed purchaser. <br />6. The Clerk/Administrator-shall cause this Resolution and Invitation <br />to Negotiate to be published in the newspaper designated by the City Council for <br />legal notices once per week for one week. <br />.The foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilmember Eggert, and <br />upon a vote being taken thereon the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor <br />Warkentien, Councilmembers Steele, Brown, Eggert and Larson, and the following <br />voted against the same: None. <br />WHEREUPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />This invitation to negotiate supersedes the invitation to negotiate in <br />Resolution 81-11. <br />• <br />Willis C.
