CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 1L~th day <br />of October, 1976. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen <br />Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra, and the following members were ab- <br />sent: None. <br />Councilman Labalestra introduced the following Resolution and moved <br />its adoption. <br />RESOLUTION 76-3l~ <br />A RESOLUTION REQUESTING R,AMSEY COUNTY BOARD OF COMI~SSIONERS TO POST <br />2 HOUR PARKING ON THE NORTH SIDE OF LARPENTEUR AVENUE BEGINNING FROM <br />FAIRVIEW AVENUE THENCE WESTERLY 163l~ FEET. <br />WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has had <br />several requests, due to excessive all day parking, to post Larpenteur <br />Avenue on the north side from Fairview Avenue westerly 163l~ feet, which <br />abuts commercial property and, <br />WIiERL~~AS, said parking has created a traffic hazard for customers <br />exiting from the commercial business, <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City <br />of Falcon Heights respectfully requests the Ramsey County Board of Comm- <br />issioners to authorize 2 hour parking from 8:00 a.m. to L~:00 p.m. daily <br />except Saturdays, Sundays and Holidays and authorize the Ramsey County <br />highway Department to erect said signs so enforcement can be conducted. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly <br />seconded by Councilman Ecklund, and upon a vote being taken, thereon, the <br />following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, <br />Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra, and the following voted against the same: <br />None. <br />WHEREUPON, the motion was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />~( -fit'-~=~e ~~. u~ .rte <br />WTT.T.TS C.
