CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a special meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 28th day of February, 1977. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the following members were absent: None. Mayor Warkentien introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION 77-7 A NESOLUTION REQUESTING RAMSEY COUNTY BOARD OF COF~~iLISSIOt~TERS TO POST "NO PARKING ANYTIME" ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF LARPENTEUR AVE- NUE :3EGINNING AT GORTNER AVENUE THENCE WESTERLY 200 FEET WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights has had several re- quests to post "No Parking" on the south side of Larpenteur Avenue from Gortner Avenue 200 feet westerly due to the fact that cars parked on the south side create a traffic hazard by obstructing the view of cars attempting a turn on to Larpen- teur Avenue from Gortner Avenue, and WHEREAS, the City Council feels that if "No Parking Anytime" be posted from Gortner Avenue westerly 200 feet would alleviate this hazard. NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights respectfully requests the Ramsey County Board of Commissioners to author- ize the posting of "No Parking Anytime" on the south side of Larpenteur Avenue from Gortner Avenue westerly 200 feet and authorize the Ramsey County Highway Department to erect signs so enforcement can be conducted. The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Ecklund and upon a vote being taken the following voted in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the following against the same: None.
