CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />. Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of the City of Falcon Heights, T~innesota was held on the 12th day of <br />Nlay, 1977 . <br />The following members were present: T~iayor titi'arkentien, Councilmen ~31ack, <br />Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the followir~ were absent: None. <br />Councilman Labalestra introduced the following resolution and moved its <br />adoption. <br />RESOLUTIOTd 77-15 <br />A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING INSTALLATION OF Tti~70 (2) I~-~4~AY <br />STOP SIGNS ON GARIIETu AVENUE AT THE INTERSECTIONS OF <br />ASBURY AVENUE AND ON SIN~'SON AVENUE. <br />ti~THEREAS, ~syie City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, upon the results <br />of the Garden Avenue traffic survey has determined the need for two (2) ~-way stop <br />signs on Garden Avenue, one at the intersection of Asbury Avenue and one at the <br />intersection of Simpson Avenue, and, <br />ti~~T~El~a, the City Council has determined the signs should be of a tem- <br />porary nature and a traffic count shall be conducted for seven (7) full days before <br />erection of the signs and for seven (7) full days during the week of September ~, <br />1977, and, <br />• ti~'HEREAS, the results of the traffic count will be submitted to the City- <br />Council on or about September 15, 1977, for a determination as tc whether to con- <br />tinue the stop signs. <br />NOZ1, THEI~F'ORE, SE IT RESOLVED, the City Council of the City of Falcon <br />Heights does hereby authorize the installation of two (2) temporary ~.-way stop <br />signs on Garden Avenue at the intersections of Asbury Avenue and Simpson Avenue <br />through September 15, 1977, for the purpose of conducting a traffic survey. <br />The motion for tre adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded <br />by :layor ti~darkentien and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: Mayor ti°Tarkentien, Councilmen Ecklund, Steele and Labalestra and the <br />following voted against the same: Councilman Black. <br />ti~dHEREUPON, the Resolution was declared duly passed and adopted. <br />--, <br />~•,L.i,r~i,~-~`r ~- ~ ( ,.mot;' ~ :-` ~~~ <br />ILLIS C .
