• CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />RESOLUTION NO. 77-29 <br />A RESOLUTION FOR THE CANVASSING <br />OF RETURNS OF SPECIAL ELECTION <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular <br />meeting of the City Council of the City of Falcon Heights, <br />Minnesota, was held at the City Hall on the 10th day of <br />November, 1977, at 7:30 o'clock P.M. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, <br />Members Black, Steele, Labalestra and McGough, <br />and the following were absent: None. <br />The Clerk presented affidavit of posting of notice of <br />special election held in accordance with the resolution adopted <br />on May l2, 1977, authorizing said election to vote on the question <br />of borrowing money and issuing General Obligation Bonds in an <br />amount not to exceed $66,000, for the purpose of the acquisition <br />of a fire truck for the City, and also presented the official <br />M returns of the judges of election. Said affidavits and returns <br />were duly examined, approved and ordered placed on file in-the <br />office of the Clerk. <br />Mayor Warkentien introduced the following resolution <br />and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION OF CANVASSING RETURNS <br />OF ELECTION <br />BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of <br />Falcon Heights, Ramsey County, Minnesota, that it is hereby <br />found, determined and declared that the special election held <br />in and for said City on November 8,. 1977, was in all respects <br />duly and legally called and held and the returns thereof have <br />been duly canvassed, and the votes cast at said election nor <br />and against the following question were as follows: <br />"Shall the City of Falcon Heights be <br />authorized to borrow money on the authority <br />of its general obligation bonds in an amount <br />not to exceed ,$66,000 for the purpose of <br />purchasing a fire truck?" <br />Votes YES 1036 <br />Votes NO 122 <br />Spoiled or <br />Blank Ballots 8 <br />Total Ballots 1166 <br />
