VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village Council <br />of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 8th day of June, 1972. <br />The following members were present: Acting rlayor Stone, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, <br />Taylor. The following members were absent. ~r_or Warkentien until 10:50 P.M. <br /> <br />Councilman Ecklund introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 72-9 <br />WHEREAS, The Falcon Heights Village Council opened Bids on June 2, 1972, at <br />2:00 P.M., for Fire Truck Chassis and Motor Fire Apparatus and, <br />WHEREAS, The following tabulations of Bids were received: <br />BID B <br />General Safety Equipment <br />American LaFrance <br />American Fire Apparatus <br />Persch Fire Apparatus <br />BID C <br />John. Bean FMC Coropration <br />American LaFrance <br />American Fire Apparatus <br />Pete Persch & Sons <br />$ 19,782.00 <br />21,798.00 <br />2,755.00 <br />19,193.00 <br />39,035.5 <br />36,573.00 <br />~.t~, 255 . o0 <br />l~1,126.00 <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village of <br />Falcon Heights: That the Village accept the low Bid B of General Safety Equipment <br />Corporation, North Branch, Minnesota, for Fire Appe:ratu~.and Eq~iipment, in the amount <br />of $19,782.00, and that the Mayor and Clerk-Administrator are hereby authorized and <br />directed to enter into a contract. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilman Taylor, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in favor <br />thereof: Acting Mayor Stone, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Taylor, and the following <br />voted against: None.
