• EXTRACT OF MINUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA <br />HELD: OCTOBER 12, 1972 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of <br />the Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights, T~Iinnesota, was <br />duly called and held at the Village Hall in said Village on the 12th day <br />of October, 1972, at $:00 o'clock P.M. <br />The following members were present: Mayor titi'arkentien and Council- <br />men Black, Ecklund and Stone, and the following was absent: Councilwoman <br />Stocker. <br />RESOLUTION 72-33 <br />Councilman Stone introduced the follwoing resolution and moved <br />its adoption: <br />A RESOLUTION ADOPTING THE ASSESSMENT ROLL FOR THE <br />FRY STREET CURB AND GUTTER IlvI?PROVEMENT 1972 <br />ti~iEREAS, pursuant to notice duly given as required by law, the <br />Village Council has met, for the purpose of adopting proposed assessments <br />• for Street Improvement of 1972, as more and fully described in the Notice <br />of Assessment Hearing; and no one appeared in opposition to said proposed <br />assessment; <br />NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Village Council of the Village <br />of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, as follows: <br />1. Such proposed assessment, a copy of which is attached hereto <br />and made a part hereof is hereby accepted and shall consitute the special <br />assessment against the lands named therein, and each tract of land therein <br />is hereby found to be benefitted by the proposed improvement. <br />2. Such assessment shall be payable in equal annual installments <br />extending over a period of 5 years, the first of said installments to be <br />payable with general taxes for the year 1972, collectible with such taxes during <br />the year 1973. To the first installment there shall be added interest at the <br />rate of eight per cent (8.00) per annum on the entire assessment from the <br />date of this resolution until December 31, 1972. To each subsequent instal- <br />lment, when due, there shall be added interest for one year at said rate on a11. <br />unpaid installments. The owner of any property so assessed may at any <br />time prior to the certification of the assessment or the first installment <br />thereof to the County Auditor, pay the whole of the assessment on such prop- <br />erty with interest accrued to the date of payment to the Village Treasurer, <br />except that no interest shall be charged if the entire assessment is paid <br />within 30 days from the date hereof; and such property oVmer may at any time <br />prior to November 15 of at~y year pay to the County Treasurer the entire <br />amount of the. assessment remaining due with interest accrued to December ~.~ <br />of the yearin which said payment is made. <br />
