EXTRACT OF MIAIUTES OF MEETING OF THE <br />~IILLAt3E CE~UNCII, OF THE VILLAGE OF <br />FALCON HEIGHTS, MINNESOTA <br />HELD: OCTOBER 26, 1972 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of <br />the Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was duly <br />called and held at the Village Hall in said Village oa the 26th day of <br />October, 1972, at 8:00 O~clock P.M. <br />The Follo~ring members xere present: Mayor Warkentien, Council- <br />men Black, Ecklund, Stone and Councilwoman Stocker. <br />RESOL~TTION # 72-l~7. <br />its adoption: <br />A RESOLtlTION AUTI~RI2ING A 2~ FOOT FARIANCB <br />REQUEST OF MARIAN H. TSCHIDA FOR A HOUSE AT <br />HAMLINE AND RUGGLES <br />WHEREAS, Marian H. Tschida has made a request for a 2~ foot <br />variance perrai.t to construct a house at Hamline and Ruggles, except the <br />South 522 feet; the East 167 Peet of the South ~ of the East 8 acres of <br />the Northeast '~ of Section 15, Township 29, Range 23, Ramsey County, Minne- <br />sots, xhich the building inspector .has approved, and WHEREAS, Zoning Or- <br />dinance for a corner lot states that the house must be b~iilt ~ feet from <br />the street of the sides street and 7~ feet from the aide line, and WHEREAS, <br />they have purchased an 85 foot lot and would like to build a house that is <br />50 .feet aide, but°if the house is situated 30 feet from Ruggles, there will <br />be only 5 feet remaining on the opposite side, and WI~REAS, the building in~,~, <br />spector suggested that they request the Councils permission to place the <br />house 2'~ feet from R~gles, so that there rill be 7~ feet remaining on the <br />opposite side.. <br />NOW THEREFORE BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, that sane time is of the <br />essence, the variance b® granted xithout the necessity of going to the <br />Planning Coae:niasioa. <br />The motion for the foregoing resolution was duly seconded by <br />Mayor Warkentien, and upon a vote being taken thereon., the following voted <br />in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, Stone, <br />and Councilwoman Stocker, and the following voted against: none. <br />Councilman Black introduced the following resolution and moved <br />Whereupon said resolution was decl d duly pass .ad d. <br />WILLI$ C.
