<br />VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village <br />C~ <br />Council of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 10th day of <br />May, 1973. The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen <br />Black and Ecklund, and Councilwoman Stocker. The following member was absent: <br />Councilman Stone. <br />Councilman Black introduced the following Resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION #73 l3 <br />THE VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS ACKNOWLEDGES <br />RECEIPT OF THE LETTER AND RESOLUTION OF THE <br />RAMSEY COUNTY BOARD OF COMMISSIONERS RELATIVE <br />TO THE TOPICS PROGRAM <br />WHEREAS, The Village Council of the Village of Falcon Heights approved the <br />original plans with modifications, labeled "Exhibit A", as per Resolution #73-6, <br />dated March 1, 1973. <br />WHEREAS, The plans approved by the Village provided that no trees were to <br />be removed in the vicinity of the interchange, and a temporary curb cut was to be <br />installed in the median to allow access to the alley between Larpenteur Avenue <br />and California Avenue, there would be installation of left turn lanes and left <br />turn signals, and. said plan would be fully funded by the federal and state under <br />the TOPICS Program. <br />WFiEREA5, The Ramsey County Board of Commissioners has seen fit to alter the <br />plans without further const~.ltation with the Village of Falcon Heights. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, By the Village Council of the Village <br />of Falcon Heights, that it has no recourse in the matter and must accede to the <br />revised plans for the TOPICS Program as submitted by Deane R. Anklan, Ramsey <br />County Engineer, in his letter of May 3, 1973, and approval of said plan by the <br />Ramsey County Board of Commissioners by Resolution #9-1708. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded by <br />• Councilman Ecklund, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, and Ecklund, and Councilwoman <br />Stocker, and the following voted against the same: None. <br />
