VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the Village <br />Council of the Village of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, wag held on the 13th day of <br />• December, 1973• <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, <br />Ecklund, and Stone, and Councilwoman Stocker, and the following were absent: <br />None. <br />Councilwoman Stocker introduced the following Resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION X73-~.0 <br />A RESOLUTION DESIGNATING FALCON HEIGHTS AS THE <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS CONIl~lENCING JANUARY 1, <br />197~i~ <br />WHEREAS, Due to an act of the 1973 Minnesota Legislature, Chapter 123 of <br />Minnesota Laws 1973, all villages will become known as cities.in all proceedings <br />"governed by statute or rule or regulation of a state'ageney and in all legal.`" <br />proceedings to which the city is a party." <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the Village Council of the Village <br />of Falcon Heights, that it hereby converts all references of Falcon Heights from <br />Village to City, beginning January 1, 197I~. <br />• The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Ecklund, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black and Ecklund, and Council- <br />woman Stocker, and the following voted against the same: None.
