CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />• Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council <br />• of the City of Falcon Heights, Minnesota, was held on the 25th day of April, 1971. <br />The following"members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, <br />Ecklund, and Steele, and Councilwoman Stocker, and the following were absent: <br />None. <br />Councilman Ecklund introduced the following Resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0. 74-10 <br />A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS AND SPECS FOR THE CONIl~IUNITY <br />PARK AND DIRFICTING THE CLERK ALNtINI STRATOR TO ADVERTT SE FOR <br />BIDS, SUBJECT TO THE SPECIFICATIONS, ON FILE, SAID BIDS TO <br />BE RECEIVED BY 2:00 P.M. ON MAY 22, 1.97. <br />WHEREAS, Engineer Lemberg presented plans and specifications for the proposed <br />Community Park on Roselawn and Cleveland Avenues. <br />NOW,. THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of <br />Falcon Heights, that it approves said plans for the proposed Community Park, and <br />direct the Clerk-Administrator to advertise for bids according to the specifications <br />to be received by 2:00 P.M. on A~1ay 22, 19711, and also that it authorizes the <br />installation of fencing as follows: <br />On the east side of the proposed park, running north and south between the <br />__ • park and ad3acent property owners (6 lots), a five foot chain link fence. <br />Along the Hawkin's Easement, ad3acent to 1861 Moore Street, a four foot <br />chain link fence, running the length of the easement on the property ad3oining <br />1861 Moore Street, and the Hawkins garden property. <br />On the north side of the proposed park on Roselawn Avenue a four foot <br />chain link fence. <br />On the south border of the park and extending north along the south lawn <br />of the Hawkins property to the easement, a four foot farm fence. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing .Resolution was duly seconded by <br />Councilwoman Stocker, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted in <br />favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and Steele, and <br />Councilwoman Stocker, and the following voted against the same: None. <br />Whereupon, the Resolution was declared <br />Attest: <br />~. <br />I7ewan B.
