f; <br />`" " ~ ~~ CITY OF FALCON HEIt~iTS <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof, a regular meeting of the City Council <br />of the City of Faleon Heights, Minnesota, was held on-the 26th day of September, <br />197?. <br />The following members were present: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, <br />Fcklund, Steele, and Labalestra, and the following was absent: None. <br />Mayor Warkentien introduced the following Resolution and moved its <br />adoption: <br />RE90LUTION #74-21 <br />A RESOLUTION CALLING FOR A SPECIAL ELECTION <br />WHEREAS, the proposition of authorizing an ordinance for the sale of <br />intoxicating liquor "on=sale" in hotels and restaurants on Sundays shall be <br />submitted to the qualified electors of the City at a special election to be <br />held on November 5, 19711. Said election shall be between the hours of 7:00 A.M. <br />and 8:00 P.M. The polling places shall be the previously designated polling <br />places within the City of Falcon HerLghts, Minnesota. <br />Nom,`":!'THEREFORE, BE IT HEREBY RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of <br />Falcon Heights: The Clerk-Administrator is hereby authorized and directed to <br />post and publish according to law a Notice of Election, and to prepare ballots <br />for use at said election, which Notice and ballot shall be in substantially <br />the attached form. <br />The motion for the adoption of the foregoing Resolution was duly seconded <br />by Councilman Steele, and upon a vote being taken thereon, the following voted <br />in favor thereof: Mayor Warkentien, Councilmen Black, Ecklund, and Steele, <br />and the following voted against the same: None.
