~r -2- The residents of -1bb6 Coffman are willing to do landscaping and • screening (possible fence) in the park as a good will gesture. Gertrude Estros will provide the Commission with a map of the Grove Park and 1666 Coffman housing project. Connie Lasser has requested that the Falcon Heights Maintenance. staff inspect the Grove Park. She is concerned about children. playing/skating close to the construction site. She has suggested that a temporary fence be installed if there is a safety problem. Anew directory of University Grove residents have been. published. The Commission can use this information to determine population. needs in the Grove Park area. Questions were raised as to parking for non-resident use of the Grove Park. In the past, people not living in the Grove parked where the new 1666 Coffman. housing project is now being built. Part-Time Director Position: The Subcommittee has interviewed-two candidates. They-still have two additional applications they want to review. Keith Moderson, Chairperson of the Subcommittee, will write a letter to applicants not being interviewed. The Committee hopes to make a recommendation to the Commission by January. • Survey Results: The survey questions have been statistically analyzed. Connie Lasser, and .Ardis Hutchins will continue compiling the additional hand-written. responses and comments. A discussion. of the survey results will be part of the January Cov®aission meeting. 1985 Budget Reivew: As of Octoher 31, 1985, the Parks and Recreation Budget was $1,106.51 in the RED.. The main reason. for this is maintenance and repair costs and .increase of non-resident reimbursement fees being paid. The Commission has requested that a copy of the Revenue Report be included. with the Budget Expenditures Report each month. Next meeting - Monday, January 6, 1986 at 7:00 P.M.
