• 4) Friends of the Parks Update <br />A. $1,455.00 has been raised since inception in April <br />B. Maertz stated that he would have a new brochure design for approval at the <br />next commission meeting. <br />5) 2003 Goal setting <br />A. Get council approval and funding for Curtiss Field improvements. <br />B. Work with Lauderdale, Grove neighborhood and University to plan <br />improvements to the old trolley line path. <br />C. Increase recognition and fundraising for the Friends of Parks Fund. <br />D. Create a new field reservation policy to ensure that Falcon Heights based <br />groups have priority on field use. <br />E. Increase recreation program revenues. <br />F. Pursue grant opportunities for Curtiss Field and Folwell Path <br />• G.
