• 3. Warming house (construction trailer) $175.00 electric $250.00 for <br />install and removal. <br />4. Curtiss boards at school -still have pleasure ice at Curtiss field. <br />5. Satellite (rest room) at school $150.00 for 3months. <br />The sidewalks around the Curtiss building will get repairs, the concrete is <br />cracked and broken. During the summer staff had put out a set of <br />improvement plans for residents to review and respond to they only received <br />one phone call. <br />The play feature at Community Park was discussed, and the most liked was <br />the schooner play feature. <br />The cost for the feature and installation is $17,000.00 the budget for this <br />project is $15,000.00 so the commission is asking the Lions for a donation to <br />fill the budget gap, they asked for a presentation to show what the project is <br />about. <br />Commissioner Long will try to give it on September 22nd <br />Trolley Path Update: Staff Liaison Maertz and Commissioner Long went <br />• to a neighborhood meeting to meet and go over the proposed improvements <br />with the residents. Most of the residents are ok with the improvements and <br />would like the city to remove the buckthorn and clean the area up but still <br />leave it looking natural. <br />The city has received 15 of the 18 letters it had sent out about the trail, 2 <br />residents can't be contacted and 1 is apposed to a full reconstruction. <br />There are six rare but not extinct endangered species of plants. The <br />Historical Society was contacted but was not interested in the area. <br />Staff was able to get an extension from the U of M to try for all 18 <br />signatures from the residents, if this fails staff will go back to council for <br />future direction. <br />Evans moved, and Dolan seconded the motion to adjourn the meeting.
