7. Commission's Duties <br />In fulfillment of its purpose the Commission's duties and responsibilities shall be <br />to: <br />a. Communicate program ideas to Staff to assist in the development of <br />recreation programs the community wishes to have available. <br />b. Promote and encourage recreation opporhmities. Thi may include ut <br />shall not be limited to, organizing fund raisers, app!~`~or or char~~e role <br />to City Staff to apply for grants,. working with local businesses for <br />sponsorships, work with neighboring communities or charge the role to <br />City Staff. 1~~ ~ ~n~ <br />c. Provide input and recommendations to the City budget prc~eess im the areas <br />of Parks and Recreation programming and Parks capital improvements. <br />d. evaluate recreai~on programs and parks.
