' E[Let]dS czf~he Park Fund
Established in 2002, the Falcon Heights Friends of
the Park Fund is an opportunity for residents to
support the City's parks and recreation pro-
grams bymaking atax-deductible donation. Gifts
may be designated for a specific purpose such
as maintaining and improving a favorite park,
purchasing and planting trees, or providing
recreation scholarships for children in financial
need. In the alternative, you may also make a
general contribution towards the overall opera-
tion and upkeep of the City's park system.
What does It cost to Keep our
parks safe and clean?
Park Bench- $500-$800
Bike Rack- $120
Picnic Tables- E650
Grill-$210
Trash Receptacies-
$550
Trees- $250
Toddler Swing- E315
Molded Bucket Seat $315
Belt Swing Seat-1;46
Recreation Scholarship- f16 (average)
YES ~ want t~ecome a
Friends of the Parks
"Friend of the Parks
Ads~pt-~ParK P_ragram
NAME:
Address•
For residents who prefer a more "hands on" contribu-
tion, the City has created the "Adopt-A-ParkA program.
This offers individuals, families, neighbors, or organiza-
tions an opportunity to "adopt" a City park for one year.
Volunteers commit to maintaining their favorite park a
minimum of four times over the course of the year. The
Department of Parks and Recreation will work with all
volunteers to determine the type of maintenance each
park requires. The City will provide trash bags and gloves
upon request and will pick up bags of trash and other
debris collected.
By adopting a park, residents can show pride in our public
spaces and build a stronger sense of community
Community Park
Telephone:
Email:
I would IIKe to support the City's parks and
recreational programs in the following way(s):
~ Donation payable to the BFriends
of the Park Fund'°.
