Application packets and job descriptions can be <br />found online or at City Hall. <br />Rink Updates- Pittman reported the rinks are looking good and that there is <br />only about two more weeks of the season. <br />4. Park Plan/Guide Work- Long range planning <br />Long recommended that the long term planning for the Park guide be a <br />reoccurring item on future agendas. This will help keep ideas fresh and <br />something that can be fully thought through. <br />5. Recreation Program Fees <br />Abernathy reported that all fees for recreation programs being offered this <br />summer and early fall will be raising one dollar to cover a portion of the cost of <br />Paypal, our online registration, as well as the increase in returning staff <br />members hourly pay. Thomas asked about Roseville's fee. Abernathy will be <br />contacting them on what their increase will be for this summer. <br />6. "Green Parks" <br />Abernathy reported that City Administrator Justin Miller has not informed her of <br />a set date at this time to have a joint meeting with the Environment <br />Commission. Abernathy will report back next month with a possible time. <br />7. New Business <br />Trolley Path- Abernathy reported that the City Council has decided they <br />would like to readdress the Trolley Project that was attempted a few years go. <br />Long gave the Commission a quick overview of the project and the road <br />blocks they confronted while working on this project. Commission members <br />agreed that if the project were to be pursued again information on what it <br />would cost to date might be a good place to begin the process. Abernathy will <br />continue the search for background information as well as for charts and <br />pictures that were used in the original project. Green suggested that the <br />Commission meet at the Trolley site so the Commission is familiar with the <br />area the project entails. <br />Walking Club- Abernathy informed the Commission the Neighborhood <br />Commissions and City employee Melanie Leehy's idea regarding beginning a <br />walking club. At this time the City will be collecting participants email <br />addresses and setting them up to view a Google calendar participants can go <br />to view organized walks and routes. Abernathy reported that Melanie is <br />seeking help from both the Neighborhood Commission and Parks Commission <br />on making this grow. Abernathy stated that this information will be in the <br />spring/summer activity guide to promote it as much as we do our regular <br />recreational programs. <br />Miscellaneous-Commission member Weber-Sanders updated Abernathy on <br />a potential music instructor from St. Anthony who may be interested in hold • <br />classes here at City Hall through the parks and rec. She will be updating <br />Abernathy as she knows more. Green pointed out the misspelling of <br />
