Generally, r this program is intended for children ages 8; 9 and 10>lt is V intended to help further develop a younsiers ball p-aying skills in a setting where the. program structure and philosophy is very similar to our poputar ,Near Ball program. i - Children- can expect to play one game per week after the first two weeks of .the seaons. Aunique youth. safety camp,' designed to enhanpe a'child's knowledge of safe- ty, while having fun in the process.' Topics include. fire, weat#rer antl electric safety, water. and boat safety, bicycle and.. helmet safety, and much„mu"ch; mare. The camp will be held. at the Roseville Activity C~ntei•, 2800 Arona Street. Damp hours are from 7:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. A barbecue picnic and award Ceremony will be held at t+te conclusion of the third day, the 12th. YlJUTH TENNIS INSTRUCTIf?N $EGINNERS: This class is for youngsters who have -had little or no tennis experience, The class will concentrate on learning basics of tennis including basic grips, strokes ar~d tennis rules. Classes will be held at the Falcon Heights Community Park tennis courts. Beginning tennis is open to ,ail boys and girls entering 3rd, 4th, and 5th grades. Dates: Mondays & Wednesdays, Juhe 21 -July 14 10:45 - 11:45 a.m. Tuesdays & Thursdays,_June 22 -July 15 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. $ 16.00 ADVANCED BEGINNERS: This class is designed for those who have played tennis and know the rules but would like to improve their games. This class will be tailored to .help the individual develop at his or her own rate. Advanced beginners is open to youngsters entering 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, Classes will be held at the Falcon.
