Meeting Date: 1/8/96 <br />Agenda Item: D-1 <br />CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />PARKS AND RECREATION CON~lISSION <br />ITEM DESCRIPTION: Discussion of park ordinance violations <br />SUBMITTED BY: Carol Kriegler, Director of Parks, Recreation and <br />Facilities <br />EXPLANATION/SUMMARY: At the last two meetings, the commission <br />has conducted discussions concerning the perceived level of park <br />ordinance violations, their subsequent influence on park users, <br />possible methods of enforcement, and other ideas for curbing <br />infractions. Much of the discussion has centered on pets in the <br />parks. <br />The commission was interested in obtaining more information <br />regarding available options in communicating the city's "no pets <br />in parks" policy to park users and area pet owners. Carol <br />Kriegler will give a report regarding the costs associated with <br />various options. <br />
