Carroll and Grittner were absent. <br />Motion failed. <br />Finegan moved, seconded by Nestingen, to direct Planner Susan Hoyt <br />Taff to prepare wording to be added to Section 9-4.01, Subd. 3(k), <br />and 9-2.04, Subd 1(k), that would allow for the means for an area <br />or structure that could be larger than twenty-five (25) square <br />feet (apply for permitted accessory use for larger size). <br />Black reopened the public hearing and reviewed the suggestions CHANGES <br />made by Carroll as well as Carol Carl son's proposed amendments. TO <br />The Public Hearing was closed at 8:46 P.M. After a short discussion, <br />Nestingen moved, seconded by Daykin, to approve amendments to the SWIMMING <br />Swimming Pool Ordinance, Section 9-14 .02 of the city Code. Motion POOL ORD <br />carried unanimously. APPROVED <br />• <br />Duncan requested that the City Planne r prepare suggested visual. <br />standards for remodeling projects as are used for new construction. <br />He was of the opinion that this could eliminate the use of unsightly DUNCAN <br />construction materials being used for remodeling over which we CHANGES <br />presently have no precise wording in the City Code. Such wording REQUESTS] <br />should be prepared and reviewed at a future meeting. <br />Planner Susan Hoyt Taff advised that she is working on the Snelling/ <br />Larpenteur redevelopment, parking study and preparing slides, which <br />would be available for public relations or any other presentations. PLANNER <br />She is also reviewing Chapter 9 and will make suggestions for change. <br />She then distributed portions of the park comprehensive plan and <br />reviewed actions taken by the Park and Recreation Commission. <br />The Commission discussed the Light Rail Transit Plan for Ramsey LIGHT <br />County and encouraged as many members as could to attend the Septemb~x RAIL <br />12th evening meeting. Written comments could be prepared or verbally TRANSI`. <br />presented at the next meeting as input from communities is desired. <br />These suggestions/comments could be given to the City Council. <br />• <br />
