VILLAGE OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br />RAMSEY COUNTY, MINNESOTA <br />PROPOSED LAND SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE <br />AND PLATTING REGULATION <br />. #69 <br />• An ORDINANCE to regulate the subdivision and platting <br />of lands . <br />The'Village Council of Falcon Heights ordains the <br />following ordinance as a subdivision ordinance and platting <br />regulation and expressly repeals those platting regulations <br />adopted the 15th day of August, 1951, and recorded in the <br />office of the Register of Deeds in and for Ramsey County in <br />Book 296 of Miscellaneous Records, page 111. <br />• ARTICLE I <br />DEFINITIONS <br />1.1 Subdivision. The term "subdivision" means the division of <br />a parcel of land into two (2) or more lots or parcels for the <br />purpose of transfer of ownership, or building development; or, <br />if a new street is involved, any .division of a parcel of land; <br />provided that a division of land for agricultural purposes into <br />lots or parcels.o~' five (5) acres or more and not involving a <br />.new street shall-not be deemed a subdivision. The term includes <br />resubdivision and, when appropriate to the context, shall relate <br />to the process, of subdividing or to the land subdivided. <br />1.2 Streets and Alleys. "Street" means a way for vehicular <br />traffic, whether designated as a street, highway, thoroughfare, <br />parkway, throughway, road, avenue, boulevard, land, place or <br />however otherwise designated. <br />
