Mr. Galvin explained the status of the Lindig development plans. air. Lindig <br />~ei.11 plat a~ develop the lots, ~vh%ch are at a slight variance from the present <br />zoning ordinance . (The 7 lots in the 2nd addition are B1.2 by 123., a+rith .a <br />total of slightly over 10,000 ~. ft.} The rand into-the development from <br />Larpent~ur is 60 ~ ands an the southern he,l.f, but narrows to 4E~ ~ -wide in the <br />northern half, 30~ of which is driving surface. In this northern section of <br />Mr. Lindig's development he is to reserve an additional foot between the paving <br />and his east property line. If and when the property o~~nera east of Bar. Lindigts <br />treet ~csh to develop their back lots, they must dedicate 19t for tine street. <br />sir 19~ plus Mr. Lindig~a one foot on the east side of the street will bring <br />tc~e total street ~+idth up to 60 f . The most northerly lot is to be used far a <br />turn-.around until such. time as the street i.s developed an to the north. <br />Mr. Lindig r+rill dedicate the street to the Village, wheih will in turn develop <br />it with pav3.sg and curb, and put in sewer and water installatiat~s. The cost <br />of these improvements gill be assessed to qtr. &indig. If the aw~ers of the <br />easterly lots ever =want to sell their back lots anduse the street, they must <br />pay Mr, Lindig at that time far their share of the improvements. <br />Mx°. Permission to record tyre plat with the County Elating Canimission. <br />Mr. Lindig wow repres8nted by P~Jr. Paul Kunert who explained i`urther details. <br />The Planning Commi:;saion~s discussion centered around try drainage prrsblem <br />for the lots in the 2nd sadition. It wa.s moved by Hinderman, seconded by <br />Otis and pe,ssed that the Planning Com~~+ scion delay all action until it i.s <br />presented with a survey showing the elevations -and drainage, the ~,tershed <br />is defined, and the volume of water draining into this -area i.a computed. <br />Mr. Lindig ws.11 have this information provided tc. the commission by next week. <br />T_h_e_Cammission will meat o~ ~ecsds.v,~ March 20th at 7:.30 p.m. tQ discuss <br />this e~.ter ,prapl~em. <br />2. Mr. MacDougall of Phillips Oi.l company presented a preliminary pl8n for the <br />Car lash showing four lanes of cars to enter the wash, with two gasoline <br />pumps on each of two pedestals. The Car Rush-mould sell ga.s only- no oil or <br />service.. The Car Rash is in a B 2 area. Motor fuel stations are conditions.l <br />uses in B-2. An up-to-date plan wi1i. be presented to the Commission at its <br />meeting on March 20th. <br />3. At the close of the meting, Mayor Nilsen indicated that a petition had been <br />received by the Council for a rezoning from Ft-3 to B-~ for the purpose of <br />having s filling station an the corner of Fairview grid Larpenteur. The <br />lot is 15~t~ by 25~~. The station would franc on Larpenteur. There is adequate <br />sps.ce fDr screening on the northern side.
