Here are the differences in the firms other than personal style. <br /> Holmes and Graven <br /> Acts as general and special counsel to several cities (see attached). <br /> Municipal law is 60% .of the firm's business. <br /> Possible conflict of .interest in dealings that involve Lauderdale can't <br /> create, negotiate or defend contracts and agreements between <br /> Lauderdale /F.H. or recommend projects for F.H. viewed as adverse to <br /> Lauderdale or other cities the firm represents. <br /> Several general counsel municipal attorneys on staff if lead attorney leaves <br /> firm. <br /> Lead attorney cannot attend council meetings on the 4th Wednesday, <br /> experienced 'back -up' available. <br /> Solid experience in all municipal issues. <br /> Leonard, Street and Deinard <br /> Acts as special counsel to several cities and represents clients in their <br /> work with municipalities. (see attached) <br /> Municipal /governmental law is 15 of the firm's overall business. <br /> No conflict of interest issues with Lauderdale or other cities. <br /> Very few general counsel municipal attorneys on staff if lead attorney <br /> leaves firm. <br /> Lead attorney is available for all council meetings. <br /> Creative approach to land use issues and projects. <br />
