The <br /> presentation will be about 20 minutes in length and cover the <br /> following areas: <br /> The budget process <br /> The budget <br /> revenue <br /> expenditures <br /> expenditures over time <br /> expenditure comparisons with other cities <br /> Property taxes <br /> city's share of property tax revenue <br /> city property tax levy for 1993 <br /> how the levy affects a specific property <br /> how city taxes compare with other selected metro <br /> area cities <br /> A handout will be given to citizens who come to the hearing. <br /> This year the size of the handout will be reduced to cover the <br /> key points in the presentation rather than more extensive <br /> material since copies of the proposed budget are available upon <br /> request. <br /> ACTION REQUESTED: <br /> Open public hearing for presentation and questions. <br />
