There are a few things to discuss regarding this event. <br /> These are: <br /> 1. Who should the event recognize or should there be more than <br /> one event to recognize these groups? <br /> commissioners <br /> volunteers (R.S.V.P.) <br /> firefighters, rescue <br /> 2. What type of event or events is appealing? <br /> 3. How much would the council like to budget for this? <br /> A catered dinner for 30 commissioners plus council <br /> would run about $315.00 ($9 /per plate) <br /> Other ideas? <br /> 4. When? <br /> A Thursday in March? <br /> A Friday in March? (March 3 and 26) <br /> ACTION REQUESTED: <br /> Discuss and decide on a recognition event. <br />
