Tasks: <br /> Work with public works, administrator, commission and <br /> council to develop a long -term plan for the parks and <br /> open spaces <br /> Develop a long -range financial plan for park facilities and <br /> open spaces <br /> Organize a regularly scheduled inspection /maintenance <br /> program <br /> Seek outside funding sources for park development <br /> Staff the park and recreation commission as it discusses <br /> this <br /> 3. Administer and staff the recreation and communication programs. <br /> Specific Tasks: <br /> Hire, supervise and evaluate all recreation <br /> Provide training and orientation for all staff and <br /> volunteers <br /> Develop and maintain good communication about programming <br /> and staffing with other city employees <br /> 4. Staff the park and recreation commission. <br /> Specific Tasks: <br /> Attend meetings <br /> Provide oral and written information as needed and /or <br /> requested <br /> Report to council on plans and programs <br /> 5.
