1 -1.04 1.2.02 <br /> 1 -1.04 Reference to Sections. Reference to any section of this <br /> code shall be understood to also refer to and include the <br /> penalty section relating thereto, unless otherwise <br /> expressly provided. <br /> 1 -1.05 Publication of Code and Effective Date. The city code of <br /> Falcon Heights, together with such indexes, supplements, <br /> appendixes or other material as the council may designate, <br /> shall be published in loose -leaf book form and a copy shall <br /> be available at the office of the clerk for inspection by <br /> the general public. The city code shall become operative <br /> and effective when the clerk publishes notice in the <br /> official newspaper of the city stating that the code has <br /> been enacted. <br /> SECTION 2. DEFINITIONS <br /> 1 -2.01 General. Unless the language or context specifically <br /> states or clearly indicates that a different meaning is <br /> intended, the words, terms and phrases for the purposes <br /> of this code shall be given the meanings defined in <br /> Minnesota Statutes, including, but not limited to, Minn- <br /> esota Statutes, including, but not limited to, Minnesota <br /> Statutes Chapters 412, 429, 645. <br /> 1 -2.02. Words, Terms, Phrases. Unless the context clearly <br /> es have <br /> indicates otherwise, the following words and p ar <br /> the meaning given them in this section: <br /> a. Code: City Code of Falcon Heights <br /> b. County: Ramsey County <br /> c. City: The City of Falcon Heights <br /> d. Council: The City Council <br /> e. Administrator: The City Administrator <br /> f. Clerk: The City Clerk <br /> g. Finance Director: The City Finance'Director <br /> h. Attorney: The City Attorney <br /> i. Engineer: The City Engineer <br /> j. Person: A person means any natural individual, <br /> firm, partnership, association, or corporation. <br /> As applied to partnerships or associations, <br /> the term includes the partners or members; as <br /> applied to corporations the term includes the <br /> officers, agents, or employees. <br /> k.
