RECOMMENDATION TO THE <br /> FALCON HEIGHTS CITY COUNCIL <br /> FROM THE <br /> SOLID WASTE COMMISSION <br /> January 7, 1993 <br /> WHEREAS, the Solid Waste Commission issued the request <br /> for proposals for the recycling services; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Solid Waste Commission received five <br /> responses; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Solid Waste Commission met with the bidders <br /> and thoroughly reviewed the proposals; <br /> WHEREAS, the commission determined that E -Z Recycling can <br /> reduce the monthly cost by 7.6% and will increase our collectibles <br /> to include phone books and office paper, and had positive <br /> references; <br /> THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Solid Waste <br /> Commission recommends the contract be awarded to E -Z Recycling, <br /> Inc. for the period of March 1, 1993 to February 28, 1994 on a 1st <br /> and 3rd Friday of the month pickup basis. <br />
