MEETING NOTICE
CITY COUNCIL WORKSHOP
DATE: 24 APRIL 1993
TIME: 8:30 AM TO 10:30 AM
PLACE: CITY HALL
1 April 1993
Mayor and Councilmembers:
Here are a couple of additions to the update you just received.
I anticipate that the pawn shop that did not receive a
business license due to the city's moratorium may be pursuing
legal channels to open its business. City attorney, Peter
Bachman, is aware of this and is doing any necessary legal
work associated with this.
I met with Carol Erickson and John Thein of the Roseville
School District to discuss a variety of mutual interests.
They said that the Falcon Heights Elementary School plans are
moving ahead and the project will begin this summer. They said
that they are anxious to work with the city on any community
oriented site improvements, once the school construction and
related improvements are completed. This will give the school
district time to see how the new facilities work and fit onto
the space before any community site improvements are
undertaken.
san
