The equipment is <br /> currently hung on hooks in the fire barn. The hooks are not <br /> adequate to store these items. <br /> The bins will be constructed out of wood by firefighters on their <br /> volunteer time. The anticipated cost for construction is $150 to <br /> $200 per rack. The cost of purchasing a storage rack would be <br /> about $1,200 per rack. <br /> The purchase would come from the public safety capital fund. <br /> ATTACHMENTS: <br /> A Diagram of unit and estimated cost for materials <br /> ACTION REQUESTED: <br /> Approve the purchase of materials for $400 to construct storage <br /> racks for the fire department out of the public safety capital <br /> fund. <br />
