Staff believes rooftop balloons and displays, and <br /> aerial searchlights need to be addressed. The new proposed <br /> recommendation reads: <br /> 9- 13.03(11) Rooftop displays and Aerial Searchlights <br /> Rooftop balloons and rooftop displays are not permitted <br /> except in a commercial zone for a maximum of five days <br /> for a business grand opening or a special civic event. <br /> A temporary sign permit is required for the balloon. <br /> Aerial searchlights are not permitted. <br /> After a brief discussion, Commissioner Huso moved to recommend <br /> accepting this code change.
