INTRODUCTION <br /> I have included on the following pages my recommendations for an audio <br /> and video system designed for city council meetings and other events <br /> which may be held in the council chambers. <br /> Included in this proposal are descriptions for each area of concern <br /> (cameras, audio, lighting, etc.). <br /> I have compiled a list of recommended equipment. The prices listed are <br /> the manufacturers suggested list price. The purchase price may be <br /> higher or lower depending on which vendor you purchase from. <br /> Generally during the bid /quote process you will be able to get at least a <br /> 10 20% reduction from these amounts. Costs will vary also for <br /> installation depending on who you contract with. <br /> While some vendors may propose "similar" equipment for that which is <br /> listed, I would be very hesitant to recommend any substitution as it could <br /> substantially affect the quality and price of this system. Please <br /> understand that I do not represent any vendors or manufacturers and <br /> will not make any guarantees or be held liable for the quality of <br /> installation or materials provided by the firms or manufacturers which <br /> are listed in this recommendation. <br />
