COMBINED NOTICE OF FINDING <br /> OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT AND <br /> NOTICE OF INTENT TO RELEASE FUNDS <br /> Date: Oct. 19, 1993 <br /> CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br /> 2077 W. Larpenteur Ave. <br /> Falcon Heights, MN 55113 <br /> TO ALL INTERESTED PARTIES, GROUPS AND PERSONS: <br /> The purpose of this notice is to identify two separate but related <br /> actions to be taken by the City of Falcon Heights. On or about November 5, <br /> 1993, the above named city will request the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban <br /> Development to release federal funds under Title I of the Housing and Community <br /> Development Act of 1974, as amended (PL 93 -383) for the following project. <br /> Falcon Heights' acquisition of Substandard Housing Project <br /> 2061 W. Larpenteur Ave., Falcon Heights, MN 55113 <br /> Total project cost is approximately $145,000 (CDBG $110,000). <br /> FINDING OF NO SIGNIFICANT IMPACT <br /> It has been determined that such request for release of funds will not constitute <br /> an action significantly affecting the quality of the human environment and accordingly <br /> the above named city has decided not to prepare an Environmental Impact Statement <br /> under the National Environmental Policy Act of 1969 (PL 91 -190). <br /> The reason for such decision not to prepare such a statement are as follows: <br /> Review of the project shows no significant negative impacts on the environment. The <br /> project will result in the elimination of blight and substandard housing and an <br /> incompatible land use. It will provide additional public green space in the community. <br /> An Environmental Review Record respecting the within project has been made by the <br /> above named city which documents the environmental review of the project and more <br /> fully sets forth the reasons why such statement is not required. This Environmental <br /> Review Record is on file at the above address and is available for public examination <br /> and copying, upon request, at 2077 W. Larpenteur Ave. during the hours of 8:00 a.m. <br /> to 5:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. <br /> No further environmental review of such project is proposed to be conducted prior to <br /> the request for release of federal funds. <br />
