rr� <br /> Meeting Date: 12/16/93 <br /> Agenda Item: P 1 <br /> CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br /> REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br /> ITEM DESCRIPTION: Proposed resolution R -93 -40 adopting the <br /> 1994 budget and certifying the 1994 tax levy <br /> SUBMITTED BY: Susan Hoyt, City Administrator <br /> Tom Kelly, Finance Director <br /> EXPLANATION /SUMMARY: <br /> On December 8, 1993, the city held its truth -in- taxation hearing <br /> on its proposed 1994 budget of $4,514,094 with a gneral operating <br /> budget of $1,061,989. This requires a levy of $527,852 including <br /> ad valorem property tax revenue and fiscal disparities tax <br /> revenue. <br /> At this meeting it is appropriate to pass a resolution adopting <br /> the proposed 1994 budget and the certified tax levy. This action <br /> finalizes the city's budget process for 1994 and di the <br /> county to levy the associated property taxes.
