No. R -94 -03 <br /> CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br /> C O U N C I L R E S O L U T I O N <br /> Date: 1/26/94 <br /> A RESOLUTION GRANTING A CONDITIONAL USE <br /> PERMIT FOR OPERATION OF A VETERINARY HOSPITAL <br /> AT 1546 WEST LARPENTEUR IN A B -3 ZONE <br /> WHEREAS, the City of Falcon Heights received an <br /> application from William E. Graham, DVM and Halsted Wehmann, <br /> property owner for the issuance of a conditional use permit to <br /> establish a veterinary hospital in Northome Center at 1546 W. <br /> Larpenteur Avenue; <br /> and <br /> WHEREAS, The city council did carefully consider the <br /> request as well as the recommendations made by the city's <br /> planning commission after holding the required public hearing; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the city council of <br /> the City of Falcon Heights that a conditional use permit for the <br /> establishment of a veterinary hospital at 1546 West Larpenteur <br /> Avenue be subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1. Operate a veterinary hospital with a maximum of <br /> four employees. <br /> 2. Adhere to all animal welfare laws in chapter 343 <br /> of the Minnesota state statutes. <br /> 3. Maintain a clean environment inside and outside <br /> the business with sanitary disposal of all wastes, <br /> cleaning up after clients on the walk and in the <br /> parking lot as necessary. <br /> 4. Keep the business within the building except for <br /> the coming and going of clientele. No outside <br /> cages, kennels, or exercising of animals. <br /> 5. Soundproof the kennel area and restrict sound to <br /> the business without affecting neighborhood <br /> businesses. <br /> 6. Control odors in the kennel with exhaust fans. <br /> 7. Limit hospital stays to recovering animals with a <br /> maximum of eight pets to stay at one time two <br /> large, three medium, and three small. (Most <br />
