In Falcon <br /> Heights, the public buildings include any structures outside the <br /> University of Minnesota and the Minnesota State Fair, which have <br /> their own building officials associated with their institutions. <br /> (Mr. Heffron, the Fair's executive director, was contacted about <br /> this.) This contract would be used to inspect additions to the <br /> Falcon Heights Elementary School. The permit fees associated <br /> with the public building project are received by the city and <br /> cover the full cost or more of the necessary inspections. <br /> ATTACHMENTS: <br /> A Proposed contract with the State of Minnesota Building Codes <br /> and Standards Division <br /> ACTION REQUESTED: <br /> Authorize the city administrator to enter into a contract for <br /> inspecting public buildings with the State of Minnesota Buildings <br /> and Codes Division. <br />
