G
DRAFT
7:00 PM TO 7:30 PM STAY ON TIME
QUESTIONS: CITY OF ST. PAUL
CHIEF WILLIAM FINNEY
DEPUTY CHIEF ED STEENBERG
1. Explain how the team concept works in the City of St. Paul. How does Falcon
Heights's proposed squad fit into the team?
2. St. Paul is a large police department and Falcon Heights is a small town, how will
you assure us that the officers assigned to Falcon Heights will be committed to
serving this community?
3. How will your officers communicate with residents, business owners and city
officials?
4. How can we be assured that Falcon Heights concerns are addressed in your large
organization?
5. Your proposal states that the police do not respond to fire and medical
emergencies in St. Paul. Would they do so in Falcon Heights?
6. We understand that the fire and police services are dispatched separately
from St. Paul. How would you dispatch our emergency services? How would
that work with the our neighboring Ramsey County cities that we share mutual aid
responses with?
7. What do you see as the major short term and long term hurdles to serving Falcon
Heights?
