DRAFT
8:00 PM TO 8:30 PM PLEASE KEEP ON TIME
CITY OF ROSEVILLE
CITY MANAGER STEVE SARKOZY
CHIEF JIM ZELINSKY
DEPUTY CHIEF TOM ALLEVA
1. How will your officers communicate with residents, business owners and city
officials?
2. Over the past few years you've worked closely with local Falcon Heights residents
to organize the neighborhood watch groups. Do you see ways to use these
groups as a communication tool for officers?
3. Your proposal provides the option of purchasing 6 hours of office time at the
Falcon Heights city hall. Can you explain how you see that time being used and
who would staff the office?
4. Your proposal provides the option of purchasing police services for 12 hours out
of a 24 hour day for a cost of $135,000 or $187,000 with a pay per officer's time
per call after the twelve hour option. Can you explain what policing plan
prompted this proposal, are there other contract cities that use this approach?
If Falcon Heights pursued this option, what 12 hours are critical for guaranteed
coverage for Falcon Heights?
