The sign shall include (1) hours
of school use, (2) brief explanation indicating that the arrangement is temporary and
due to construction and (3) listing of alternative courts in the area.
Motion carried unanimously.
DRAFT REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS (RFP) FOR POLICE SERVICE
Baldwin indicated the city's contract for police service terminates on January 1, 1995.
The city plans to seek proposals for police service starting at that time. Prior to
preparing the request for proposals, the city did a citywide survey of residents,
business persons and fire and rescue personnel. Hustad moved to approve the RFP with suggested changes and
distribute to four police service providers, Roseville, Ramsey County, St. Anthony and
St. Paul. Motion carried unanimously.
ADDITION OF ITEM NO. P -6 TO POLICY AGENDA
At this time Mayor Baldwin announced the addition of one item to the agenda as Item
No. P -6, Consideration of League of Minesota Cities (LMC) Insurance for Open
Meeting Law for Mayor and Councilmembers.
PROPOSED CITYWIDE GARAGE SALE FOR SATURDAY, MAY 21, 1993
The Solid Waste Commission is proposing a citywide garage sale to be held on
Saturday, May 21 from 9 AM to 4 PM. The commission feels the sale would be the
"ultimate" in recycling, as well as a great way to bring the community together for a
positive event. There will be guidelines to follow for each participant. Residents will
