In conjunction with <br /> the Ro Police Department, Falcon Heights is one of five cities along with <br /> Shoreview, Roseville, North St. Paid and White Bear Lake, that received a grant that <br /> will determine how well these cities' tobacco vendors are complying with state laws <br /> regarding tobacco sakes. This grant will also promote awareness of the <br /> state la r egarding underage tobacco sales. <br /> .4 Beginning soon and for the next several months. all tobacco vendors in the city will <br /> have one, possibly two compliance checks (tobacco purchases requested by underage <br /> teens) to see if local business are complying with this state law. This will be done <br /> by using teens over fourteen and under eighteen years old to attempt to purchase a <br /> look co They Ty tears will not use fake ID's nor bully the sales clerk nor try to <br /> y will only ask to purchase a tobacco,product. <br /> 4 If <br /> on <br /> an employee sells tobacco to the underage teen (compliance checker), the manager <br /> p n for immediately a be informed of th illegal sale.
