a. A therapeutic massage enterprise shall be <br /> equipped with adequate and conveniently located <br /> toilet rooms for the accommodation of its <br /> employees and patrons. The toilet room shall be <br /> well ventilated by natural or mechanical methods <br /> and be enclosed with a door. The toilet room <br /> shall be kept clean and in good repair and shall <br /> be adequately lighted. <br /> b. A licensed therapeutic massage enterprise shall <br /> provide single- service disposal paper or clean <br /> linens to cover the table, chair, furniture, or <br /> area on which the patron receives the massage; or <br /> in the alternative, if the table, chair, or <br /> furniture on which the patron receives the massage <br /> is made of material impervious to moisture, such <br /> table, chair, or furniture on which the patron <br /> receives the massage is made of material <br /> impervious to moisture. <br /> c. The therapeutic massage therapist shall wash <br /> his or her hands and arms with water and soap, <br /> anti bacterial scrubs, alcohol, or other <br /> disinfectants prior to and following each massage <br /> service performed. <br /> 12. Renewal of License. An enterprise license issued <br /> under this section shall expire on December 31 at 12:00 <br /> A.M. of each year. An application for the renewal of <br /> an existing license shall be made at least thirty (30) <br /> days prior to the expiration date of the license and <br /> shall be made in such form as the City requires. If, in <br /> the judgment of the city council, good and sufficient <br /> cause is shown by an applicant for the applicant's <br /> failure to submit a renewal application within the time <br /> provided, the city council may, if the other provisions <br /> of this section are complied with, grant the renewal <br /> application. <br /> 13. Sanctions for License Violations. The City Council <br /> may revoke a license or suspend a license for up to <br /> sixty (60) days for a violation of: <br /> 1. a provision of this ordinance or therapeutic <br /> massage enterprise license; <br /> 2. a state law relating to prostitution; or <br /> 3. a federal, state, or local law relating to <br /> moral character. <br /> A revocation or suspension shall be preceded by written <br /> 8 <br />
