No. R -94 -15 <br /> CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br /> COUNCIL RESOLUTION <br /> Date: 3/23/94 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE PUBLICATION OF A SUMMARY OF THE <br /> ORDINANCES 0 94 -05, 0 94 -06, 0 94 07, 0 94- 08 <br /> Whereas, ordinances Nos. 0 94 05 through 0 94 -08 entitled <br /> 05 An ordinance amending certain sections of Chapter 9 of the city zoning <br /> code <br /> 06 An ordinance amending chapter 5, section 1.03 of the city code relating <br /> to regulation of specific businesses and products by adding regulating <br /> and licensing of therapeutic massage enterprises and precious metal <br /> dealers <br /> 07 An ordinance amending chapter 5, Section 4.01 of the city code relating <br /> to license fees for a precious metal dealer and therapeutic massage <br /> enterprises <br /> 08 An ordinance amending chapter 5, sections 5.01, 5.02 and 5.04 of the <br /> city code relating to an interim development moratorium on commercial <br /> zoning districts <br /> WHEREAS, said ordinances contain several pages of text; and <br /> WHEREAS, the contents of said ordinances can be summarized as follows: <br /> Ordinance 0 94- 05 An ordinance amending certain sections of chapter <br /> 9 of the city code relating to zoning <br /> Amending Chapter 9 1.02 Subdivision 2 Definitions to include definitions <br /> of adult uses and related definitions, financial institutions, pawn shop, <br /> precious metals and related definitions, secondhand goods stores, and <br /> therapeutic massage enterprise. <br /> Amending Chapter 9 8.01 (B -1) the purpose and intent statement to be <br /> a neighborhood business district with uses that do not negatively impact <br /> neighboring residential properties, to add coin and philatelic store as a <br /> permitted use, second hand goods store as a conditional use, and to add <br /> other requirements prohibiting the use of bars on windows and <br /> automatic security lock doors during business hours and exterior storage <br /> of merchandise. <br />
