Past work includes projects in the public and <br /> private sectors throughout the midwest. <br /> Mr. Schroeder was previously a landscape architect with several firms, <br /> including BRW, Inc., Ernst Associates, and Martin and Pitz Associates, Inc. <br /> He has presented workshops and lectures on "grass roots" planning and <br /> design, citizen participation in the community design and development <br /> process, leadership development, and sustainable design. He is a frequent <br /> lecturer and speaker for the Minnesota Landscape Arboretum and the <br /> Minnesota State Horticulture Society. <br /> As a volunteer with the Minnesota Design Team, Mr. Schroeder has served as <br /> team leader and team member on over a dozen community visits, and as <br /> treasurer and Chair of the organization.
