FIRST AMENDMENT TO RAMSEY COUNTY HOUSING AND REDEVELOPMENT <br /> AUTHORITY JOINT COOPERATION AGREEMENT <br /> The Joint Cooperation Agreement "AGREEMENT between the <br /> County of Ramsey and F-1) LC.-Dr\..) €-4 T. "MUNICIPALITY <br /> commencing August 31, 1991, is amended as follows: <br /> 1. Pursuant to a Joint Powers Agreement executed May 4, 1993, <br /> the Ramsey County Housing and Redevelopment Authority <br /> "AUTHORITY assumed all rights and duties of the County of <br /> Ramsey under all Agreements entered into by the County prior to <br /> July 1, 1993, involving CDBG or HOME funds, including the Joint <br /> Cooperation Agreement between the County of Ramsey and the <br /> MUNICIPALITY. <br /> 2. Section I of the AGREEMENT, Definitions, is deleted and the <br /> following is inserted in its place: <br /> "County" means the County of Ramsey. <br /> "HUD" means the United States Department of <br /> Housing and Urban Development. <br /> "CDBG Act" means Title I of the Housing and <br /> Community Development Act of 1974, 42 <br /> U.S.C. §5301 et seq., as amended. <br /> "HOME Act" means the HOME Investment <br /> Partnerships Act, Title II of the Cranston <br /> Gonzalez National Affordable Housing Act, <br /> 42 U.S.C. S12701 et seq., as amended. <br /> "CDBG Regulations" means those regulations <br /> at 24 C.F.R. Part 570, as amended. <br /> "HOME Regulations" means those regulations <br /> at 24 C.F.R. Part 92, as amended. <br /> "Consortium" means the Anoka, Dakota, <br /> Ramsey, and Washington Counties HOME <br /> Consortium formed pursuant to the HOME Act. <br /> "Cooperating Community" means any city, <br /> town, or township in the County which has <br /> entered into a Cooperation Agreement, as <br /> amended, substantially similar to this <br /> AGREEMENT and its Amendments. <br />
