;N:. <br /> Meeting Date: 10/26/94 <br /> Agenda Item: C 8 <br /> CITY OF FALCON HEIGHTS <br /> REQUEST FOR COUNCIL CONSIDERATION <br /> ITEM DESCRIPTION: Office remodeling of copy room <br /> SUBMITTED BY: Pete Klingenberg, Public Works Superintendent <br /> REVIEWED BY: Susan Hoyt, City Administrator <br /> EXPLANATION /SUMMARY: In order to provide privacy for the St. Anthony police <br /> officer who will be using space at city hall for an office as well as to provide space for <br /> a copy /supply room for staff and easy access to this room for the officer, the copy <br /> room should be remodeled. Two bids have been received at this time. They are: <br /> American Handyman 1,395.00 <br /> Dick Larson $1,190.00 <br /> The third bid has not been received yet but will be reviewed for comparison with the <br /> others. Painting and additional work will be completed in- house. <br /> Staff recommends at this time to hire American Handyman because it includes all <br /> electrical work as well as remodeling costs. Staff will do the painting and carpet <br /> replacement. <br /> The money used was originally budgeted for carpeting in the council chambers and <br /> was not entirely used. <br /> ATTACHMENTS: A.
